Fish Paste Stuffed Bell Peppers

🫑This stuffing fish paste is one of my hometown’s favorite meals.
❣️Thanks to chabechili for sambal sauce and ABC sweet soy sauce. 🫑The seasonings made the stuffing bell peppers even more rich and flavorful.

1️⃣On the pan:
👉Avocado oil x 1 tablespoon
👉Garlic x 3 (minced)
👉Ginger x 4 (minced)
👉Bell peppers costco
👉Green onion (for garnish)

2️⃣Marinate ahead:
👉Ready dace fish paste x 1 container (from Asian store)
👉Shaoxing wine x 1 tablespoon
👉White pepper x 1 teaspoon
👉LKK Light soy sauce leekumkeeusa x 1 -2 tablespoon
👉Green onion x 2
👉Ginger x 1 teaspoon (minced)

👉Chili sauce / Sambal sauce chabechili x 2-3 tablespoons (depends how spicy you want)
👉ABC sweet soy sauce (kecap manis) abcsauces x 2 tablespoons
👉LKK Light soy sauce x 2 tablespoons
👉Salt to taste
👉Sugar to taste
👉Water x 20-30 ml (depends how consistency)

➡Browned the stuffed pepper about 5-10 minutes on pan lecreuset.
➡Close the lid & braised stuffed peppers about 12 minutes over low medium heat.
➡Then remove the lid & cook another 3-5 minutes to cook down the sauce.
